Around Town!

These last two weeks have really challenged me to be out in the sports community. If you missed this weekend's show, I was at the Athletes First Classic. This yearly event is a fundraiser for Orangewood Foundation. At the event, I interviewed NFL athletes from around the country about the upcoming year, how they mentally prepare, and your favorite "couch questions."

For next weekend's show, I will be putting together conversations with fans, coaches, parents and participants of the Women's Pac-10 Tournament that was recently held at the Galen Center.

What an event! I cannot remember seeing fans wearing ASU, USC, and UCLA gear rooting for the same athletes. I have never seen so many different bands in one place at the same time. The sportsmanship was awesome. The level of play was fabulous. The proximity to the action was prime. All in all, the Pac-10 Tournament had to be the best ticket in town for affordable, quality sports.

This month, The Dr. Casey Show is on Saturdays in between Ducks and Angels games. Listen at 4 pm for the latest show. I'm rebroadcast often too!
